EvotoA lifelong commitment to the LSU community has shaped my personal and professional journey for more than forty‑five years. That experience, rooted in service, mentorship, and a deep appreciation for education, continues to guide the work I do and the relationships I build. My academic path began at Loyola University New Orleans, where I earned a Liberal Arts degree with a major in Sociology and minors in Religious Studies, Criminology, History, and Philosophy. Those studies gave me a broad understanding of people, culture, and the systems that shape our lives—perspectives that have informed every role I’ve taken on since.

I continued my formation at the Loyola Institute of Ministry, completing a master’s degree in Religious Education. That program strengthened my belief in lifelong learning and deepened my commitment to helping others grow in faith, understanding, and community. From 2017 to 2026, I served as Director of Religious Studies at St. John the Evangelist Church Parish, where I worked closely with families, volunteers, and parish leadership to build programs that were both spiritually grounded and welcoming to all.

My call to serve has also extended beyond parish life. For five years, I was involved in prison ministry, an experience that profoundly shaped my understanding of compassion, dignity, and hope. Walking with individuals in difficult circumstances reinforced my belief that every person carries a story worth hearing and a life worth honoring.

Across each chapter of my career, my focus has remained steady: to serve with integrity, to accompany others with empathy, and to help build communities where people feel seen, supported, and inspired.

This blog reflects my own life and personal pilgrimage. Everything written here comes from my experiences and perspectives. It is not intended to promote any political, religious, or ideological agenda of any kind.
